Canteen services is one of good business for the Food & Beverage line. Its promising good number of customer due most local people at workplace will prefer to have their meals at canteen compare go to outside which may need additional transportation cost, extra time etc.
But, there also have few key success factor that need us to take care on this line due F&B is part of services business category. So, customer satisfaction is critical aspect that need to pay attention. We may not able to make 100% satisfaction to everybody. But, we have no choice and have to ensure as much as possible they will satisfy with our services. The critical aspect also including front line service, variety & taste of meals and price.
Recently, a manufacturing company located at Pasir Gudang, Johor also open a tender for canteen services which roughly has to serve around 250-300 pax. They also provide few benefit include free rental fee, monthly rebate, coupon for workers etc as enhancement benefit to service provider. They give probation for 6 months, but the contract will extended if there have no major complaint and high commitment is shown.
Any type of business can success, but its depend on how are the approaches :)
